Preston Scout House Band Inc. evolved from the bugle band established by town of Preston pharmacist Wilf Blum in 1938 as an innovative new activity for members of the 1st Preston Boy Scout Troop. Over the next 30 years, Scout House Band became one of the most popular drum and bugle corps in North America. Today, the award-winning Silver Leaves Brass ensemble carries on the tradition of enhancing community events, performing more than 20 times annually in Cambridge and beyond.
